Celebrating America 4th of July

parade Floats, marching bands, clowns, fire trucks, sirens, horses, bicycles, costumes, entertainment, scouts, community spirit, veterans and plenty of flags will come together during the Fourth of July community parade. This year the parade will fill the streets with additional entries, new floats and an outpouring of patriotism. This year’s theme is “Celebrating America.” The parade, sponsored by Portneuf Health Partners and Idaho Central Credit Union, will begin at 9am with a P51 Mustang and Air Rescue fly over. Spectators will watch beautiful floats from local businesses, schools and nonprofits travel the route while collecting all kinds of goodies. $1,500 in prizes will be awarded to the parade participants. Portneuf Health Partners is honored to celebrate those who humbly serve our country and protect our freedoms. Hundreds of enthusiastic spectators are expected to line the parade route and share in the star-spangled excitement. If you’re looking for a great place to watch the parade, Kelly Martinez from KORR 104 will be announcing floats at Caldwell Park and there will be other vendors there as well. All the members of the Portneuf community continue to find new and meaningful ways to extend our reach to improve the health and quality of life for people in our region. Our administrators, staff and physicians are community members, friends and family who volunteer their time and talents to non-profit organizations, schools, community events and health clinics. As a hospital, we don’t just talk about prevention, health promotion and community involvement. We take the next step and actively invest, sponsor and participate in a wide assortment of community events. To learn more about upcoming events and seminars at Portneuf like us on Facebook.
