Randall S. Fowler, MD was born and raised on the Puget Sound in Washington State. He did his Pre-medical studies at Pacific Lutheran University and his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry at the University of Puget Sound. He went to medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle and residency training in Spokane. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
After 25 years as an Emergency Physician at Portneuf Medical Center, he presently is the Medical Director of Portneuf Employee Health, Work Med (Occupational Medicine Clinic) and Travel Med (International Travel Medicine Clinic).
He is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine, the largest organization of professionals dedicated to the advancement of the specialty of travel medicine and he holds an occupational and environmental (OEM) certification from the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) the nations’ largest physician organization dedicated to the care of workers.
Randall has been married for 36 years (to the same wonderful woman!), enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, global medical missions, and his four grandchildren.
