About Corrie Holmes AuD

Corrie Holmes, AuD, grew up with family members who had hearing loss and wore hearing aids. She observed how difficult it was for them to hear and communicate without their hearing aids and sometimes even with their hearing aids. After seeing firsthand who difficult it can be and how life changing medical treatment can bring hearing back to normal sparked her interest to in the medical field and especially the auditory system. Having this experience growing up with close family members who had hearing loss helps her better relate to her patience.

Corrie moved to Pocatello to attend graduate school at Idaho State University and really enjoyed everything the community had to offer. She enjoys the access to outdoor recreation and the proximity to so many beautiful places to explore. When she isn’t working, she loves to hike, camp, ski, bike, and go backpacking. Corrie also enjoys working on her hobby farm with her husband and kids. She also participates in medical humanitarian trips and has traveled to Peru three times with Idaho Condor to provide audiology related services.
