About Kevin Oberg PA-C

Kevin Oberg, PA aspired to pursue a career in medicine when he had multiple surgeries as a kid and was impressed by the surgeon’s ability to “fix” his body. He also studied engineering, which was a great segue to studying medicine as a graduate student. Kevin decided to choose cardiothoracic and vascular surgery because he found it difficult to consider other options after experiencing an open heart surgery. He appreciates how there is never a “straight-forward” case in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.

Kevin likes everything Southeast Idaho has to offer. He enjoys the size of the community and that his family is nearby. He and his wife fell in love with rock climbing and paragliding. Now that they have four kids, they have expanded their hobbies to include whatever the kids are doing.
