As caregivers, nothing is more important to Portneuf Health than ensuring communities across Southeast Idaho have access to the care they need from the caregivers they know and trust. We previously shared that our agreement with Regence BlueShield of Idaho expired on June 15.
We are pleased to share that Portneuf Health has reached a new long-term agreement with Regence, retroactive to June 15, 2026. In addition to restoring in-network access, the new agreement includes changes designed to reduce barriers to care, remove administrative burdens and reduce payment denials. These improvements support continued access to high-quality healthcare for communities across Southeast Idaho.
What this means for patients with Regence insurance plans:
- Regence members can once again access care from Portneuf Health facilities, physicians and providers at in-network rates.
- Patients can continue seeing the caregivers they know and trust without further disruptions, and no action is required.
- Patients who have questions about their specific insurance plan should contact Regence for more information.
