Orthopedics

Portneuf Orthopedics – to restore life, restore joy, and restore mobility.

As the leading regional referral hospital and a highly specialized medical care facility, our high touch, high care includes advanced and complex orthopedic procedures and treatments performed by medical specialist in a state-of-the art, 205-licensed-bed hospital that includes a full complement of specialized care.

Hip and knee replacement surgeries are highly successful. They have improved function and reduced pain in thousands of lives. They may not be lifesaving, but they can be quality of life saving. As with any surgery, the success is dependent on a team of medical staff and providers. Outcomes are best when that team practices quality patient care based on a foundation of hard work, honest communication, clinical expertise, innovation and compassion. That is the type of patient care provided at Portneuf Medical Center,” says Cody Martin, MD, Orthopaedic Surgeon.

"If you or a loved one are struggling with hip or knee pain, please consider visiting Portneuf Orthopedics. As a joint replacement specialist, I will do my best to provide the best care possible. Our orthopaedic team is experienced and also continues to stay abreast of the latest treatments and technological advancements, like robotics and navigation. We look forward to helping relieve your musculoskeletal pain and suffering."

In 2021, we expanded our Portneuf Total Joint unit and opened a larger, newer Portneuf Orthopedic unit. Designed with your needs, your expectations, and your recovery in mind. Our orthopedic nurses have advanced training and they work closely with the patient, their family, and the orthopedic team to ensure clear patient education, a smooth recovery, and minimal complications.
