Dhiren Patel, MD was working at a top multi-specialty hospital in India when he treated a young stroke patient. That experience ignited his passion for neurology. Guided by a renowned neurologist, Dhiren decided to specialize in the field. In residency he became fascinated by the link between sleep disorders and neurological conditions, motivating him to pursue a fellowship in sleep medicine.
With a blend of expertise, compassion and innovation, Dhiren focuses on personalized care tailored to individual patient needs. His experience as a doctor in India enriches in his practice in neurology. Dhiren’s decision to pursue medicine was rooted in his enduring desire to care for others and contribute to society by alleviating suffering. His diverse experiences and continuous learning allow him to do so.
The natural beauty and community charm drew Dhiren to Southeast Idaho. He appreciates the stunning landscapes and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the local community resonated with him and he felt a sense of belonging and connection.
Outside of work, Dhiren has a profound passion for culinary exploration. He spends his spare time exploring diverse cuisines, experimenting with new ingredients, and creating innovating dishes. His other hobbies include hiking, biking and exploring scenic trails with his family.
