Dr. Stephen Hansen is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Hansen served an LDS mission in Haiti and then completed college at BYU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English with University Honors. He then graduated from the University of Illinois with combined MD/MBA degrees through the Medical Scholars Program and then completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Creighton University combined program in Omaha. He subsequently completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Indiana Spine Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. He underwent further training in endoscopic spine surgery at the SMART Clinic.

Dr. Hansen has a unique approach to treating the spine, as he provides a complete breadth of nonoperative and operative treatments of the spine. He provides nonoperative spinal treatments (such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation), more advanced interventions (such as kyphoplasty and spinal cord stimulators), traditional spinal surgery (anterior and posterior decompressions with or without fusions), motion-preserving surgeries (lumbar and cervical disc replacements), and the least invasive spinal surgeries offered (endoscopic spine surgery). He is committed to providing patients with the best possible care.
