For Victoria Vega, PA-C, the decision to pursue medicine was driven by her love creating meaningful relationships, helping others, and learning new things. Victoria chose bariatrics because she is passionate about helping patients on their journey to become their healthiest selves.
Victoria played Division III soccer as an undergrad, which instilled a strong sense of teamwork. She has lived in several states and even moved to India with her family at age 11. She speaks Spanish and enjoys communicating with patients in their native language.
Having family close as well as a love for the mountains and in the region brought Victoria to Southeast Idaho. When she isn’t at work, she can be found exploring the area with her husband. Her hobbies include all things outdoors: hiking, camping, backpacking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, kayaking, running and playing soccer.
