About Alexa Roth, MD

Alexa Roth, MD is a board-certified bariatric surgeon. She completed medical school at the University of California Los Angeles, finished her surgical residency at the University of Arizona, and completed her fellowship at Fresno Heart and Surgical hospital in Fresno, California.

Alexa chose to pursue medicine because she loves science and interacting with people, and this career has allowed her to do both. She enjoys bariatrics because it allows her to play a part in changing the lives of patients, families, and communities through a single procedure.  She also enjoys the lifelong connections she creates with her patients.

Alexa strives to help her patients achieve their goals and live their healthiest life possible. She finds great joy in connecting with her patients on a personal level by getting to know them and what they value in life.

Alexa and her husband are excited to live in an area filled with outdoor activities. They look forward to being a part of a smaller, supportive community where they can raise their family. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking, running, cycling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Roth is a Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery and Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery. These designations are given to surgeons who meet rigorous quality, training and patient safety criteria set by the Surgical Review Corporation
