Elisabeth Kinghorn, PA-C helped me greatly when I was having a severe edema increase. I had received a callback from a Portneuf Cardiology nurse and she told me to go to the ER (NO!). I called my family doctor’s office – Dr. Bailey was out for the week (spring school break) but his PA, Elisabeth Kinghorn, took care of me. She increased my Lasix dosages with specific follow-up instructions of dose increases to begin with and the tapering down to follow. Blood labs were done same day and will be repeated five days later. I’m on second day and my weight has decreased notably. The edema is still notable but less so. Dr. Bailey’s office has always been receptive and helpful for the care of my wife and me.
