Local Heart Experts to Speak on the Importance of Heart Health

Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute invites the community to attend a free engaging and informative seminar focused on heart health! Our expert speakers, Warren Willey, DO; Benjamin Call, MD; and Jacob DeLaRosa, MD will provide valuable insights and practical advice to help you take charge of your heart health. Whether you're looking to improve your own cardiovascular wellness or support a loved one on their journey, this seminar is for you! Dr. Willey is honored to be the presenting speaker and a part of the Wheeler Family Endowment guest lecture series. He has established a holistic practice in Southeast Idaho that promotes physical and psychological wellness. He has published five books and offers many different online courses to aid those who seek healthier lives. Dr. Willey has over 30 years of experience in exercise development and nutritional intervention.

In 2022, Ann Wheeler established the Wheeler Family Endowed Chair of Cardiovascular Surgery at Portneuf Health. The endowment, held in trust at the Portneuf Health Trust in Pocatello, is to be used for educational programs and resources to continue to advance the cardiovascular program at the hospital and to fuel the next generation of discoveries in the treatment of heart disease in the region. Jacob DeLaRosa, MD, cardiothoracic surgeon at Portneuf Medical Center is the Wheeler Family Endowed Chair of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
