Sara Nehring, DO is board certified in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. She attended medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Michigan State University.
Dr. Nehring chose to pursue medicine because she loves to help people heal and learn how to live their life to the fullest. She chose to become a nocturnist because she loves working at night and enjoys the hospital setting because of its acuity and work pace.
With a career background in diverse fields, Dr. Nehring brings a unique perspective to medicine and treating her patients. She appreciates how careers can affect one’s health and healthcare access, and uses that knowledge to connect with and treat patients.
When she’s not working, Dr. Nehring likes to hike, play disc golf, travel, snowshoe, and do nature photography. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog.
